Chloros Environmental Drives Growth with Team Expansion

Chloros Environmental is delighted to announce it has appointed three new staff members to support its accelerated growth. 

Operating from a fully licensed waste transfer facility based in Droitwich, Chloros successfully services clients across England, Wales and Scotland, having grown an impressive 425% over the last 5 years alone. 

In appointing three new staff members, Dave Smith, Sameera Ghalib and Debra Blackwood, Chloros now employs over 30 staff members, with ambitious plans to double in size over the next three years. 

Dave joins Chloros in the capacity of Group Compliance Manager and will be leading on all aspects of legal compliance with a focus on the safe and environmentally sound delivery of operations.

He obtained an MSc in Environmental Management from Lancaster University in 2002 and holds a NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and a Certificate of Professional Competence in Transport Management.

Dave is joined by new Technical Assistant, Sameera Ghalib, who graduated with an honour’s degree in Chemistry from Aston University in 2013 and has since gained experience working within compounding, extrusion and testing.

The firm’s final addition, Debra Blackwood has taken over the role of HR Manager and will be fundamental in supporting team members in their roles as Chloros continues to drive exponential growth.
