Carriage of Dangerous Goods

As part of our total waste management service, we can offer artic and rigid vehicles to provide customers with a flexible, cost effective hazardous waste transport service.

With our waste carriers licence and avaliable fleet of ADR certified drivers and vehicles, we meet the necessary standards for the international agreement concerning the carriage of dangerous goods by road. Our nationwide range of waste collection and haulage options for the transport of dangerous goods include:

  • Self-loading vacuum tankers
  • Curtain sided artic trailers and rigid vehicles
  • 27-Tonne tail lifts
  • Skips and ROROs
  • Box vans (tail lift)

ADR requires those involved in the carriage of dangerous goods to appoint a qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA). Acting as your qualified DGSA, Chloros provide a cost-effective solution for companies needing to comply with the current transport regulations. The service includes:

  • Audit compliance with transport regulations, recommending remedial actions where necessary
  • Audit procedures to ensure compliance with DGSA regulations concerning the classification, labelling, packaging, consigning and carriage of dangerous goods
  • Compile annual audits of your practices and produce an improvement plan as required by DGSA regulations
  • Advise customers regarding all aspects of the transportation of dangerous goods, including other modes of transport such as by sea (IMDG) and by air (IATA).
